Here is recent UFC signee Patrick "Durkin" Cummins fighting Ricky Pulu in Xplode Fight Series which took place on 3/16/13 in Valley Center, California. Pulu was over matched for this bout.
After Rashad Evans pulled out of his bout with Daniel Cormier due to a leg injury, it seemed as thought the bout would be moved to UFC 172. However, with strong campaigning by Cormier for any opponent to step up, Cummins answered the bell.
Cummins is an 2X All American wrestler out of Penn State with a 4-0 record in MMA. He has had difficulty finding bouts at the regional level to gain experience but the stars aligned for him to get this opportunity. He trains with Mark Munoz at Reign MMA.
