Carwin (12-2) announced his retirement from MMA today after dealing with injuries the past two years. The pinnacle of Carwin's career was at UFC 111 when he TKO'd Frank Mir in the first round to claim the UFC Interim HW Title. He had other MMA wins over Gabriel Gonzaga, Neil Wain and Rex Richards.
