Video of the Day - Fedor v. Ishii

Here is Fedor Emelianenko fighting Satoshi Ishii at Dream's "Fight For Japan - Genki Desu Ka! New Year!" The fight took place on 12/31/11 at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan. This was Fedor's last bout before his brief hiatus from the sport.

Fedor (34-4) will return on NYE in Rizen FC against a yet to be named opponent. Ishiii (14-4) fights Jiri Prochazka (13-2) on Rizen FC Day 1 in the opening round of the World GP.

Here is the Cro Cop elbow that cut open Satoshi Ishii which eventually led to a stoppage at IGF which took place on 8/22/14 in Tokyo, Japan. I will post the full fight video once it comes available.

Video of the Day - Ishii v. Shibata

Here is Satoshi Ishii fighting Katsuyori Shibata in the only MMA match of the K-1 World Max 2010 Finals which took place on 11/8/10 in Tokyo, Japan.

Ishii won a 2008 Olympic gold in Judo in Beijing, China in the heavyweight division. He is a 5th dan blackbelt in Judo.
